Anti Illegal Alien makes you a racist

So, on my facebook account I mentioned that there were over 7 million illegal aliens holding down jobs in the US and that there was 12 million American Citizens out of work. I left the post like that to see what the response would be, with over 100 friends there was very little response.

The next day I got a friend request from a friend who was already a friend but had dropped me. There was also a message from this same friend who has been my buddy since childhood. He said that he had dropped me because he was tired of people being racist and baiting other people and that he was also stressed and this was the straw that broke the camels back...

So, instead of replying by message I posted on my profile what happened and that I thought it was completely ignorant to equate the illegal alien issue with racism and that the word racism gets thrown out there way to easily, mostly as an excuse for bad behavior.

I also mentioned that people sneaking into this country would be as bad if they came from Norway, Germany, Ireland, etc., it just happens they are mostly from Mexico because Mexico has a bad economy and borders the USA. This does not make me anti-Hispanic. The problem is that our infrastructure and economy cannot support these people in these numbers at this time...

We are a nation of immigrants but even during the Irish famine they still had to do it the legal way and mostly did. If we allow everyone that wants to just come into our country in and give them amnesty we soon wont have a country because our economy wont be able to support them.
